This seminar is designed for non-angel investors who want to have a deeper impact on angel investing's impact on job creation. This seminar provides a deep overview of the angel investing process and its vital relationship to the growth of early stage companies and economic development.


ANGEL INVESTING OVERVIEW (FULL-DAY)

Angel Investing Overview is the leading workshop for educating angel investors, entrepreneurs and startup support professionals about how to execute the early-stage and angel investment process.


DUE DILIGENCE (HALF-DAY)

This workshop teaches the fundamentals of how to prepare for, set up and execute a solid due diligence process. It also covers what it takes to validate a potential investment and to define and contain the risk of an investment.


EARLY EXITS (HALF-DAY)

Investors and entrepreneurs will learn how to strategize and execute plans to develop and exit companies in two to three years without the need for multi-million dollar investments. This workshop is based on the book by Basil Peters, Early Exits.


EXECUTING EXITS (HALF-DAY)

This innovative course by exit expert Basil Peters addresses the best practices and practical methods for sophisticated investors to execute company exits. Can be taught stand-alone or in conjunction with Early Exits (which focuses on exit strategy) for a full-day on exits.


FINANCING HIGH-GROWTH VENTURES (HALF-DAY)

This workshop is a must-attend event for any emerging or existing company who knows that understanding the scope of financing available to them is key to success.


PITCHING TO INVESTORS (HALF-DAY)

Designed specifically to teach entrepreneurs and investors on capitalization tables and the implications for raising multiple rounds of funding. Learn how the cap table impacts returns to investors and founders.

Based on the book Angel Investing Groups, Networks, and Funds: A Guidebook to Developing the Right Angel Organization for Your Community, by Susan Preston and Kauffman Foundation. This book was the foundational piece for infoDev/World Bank Group's recent release of Creating Your Own Angel Investor Group: A Guide for Emerging and Frontier Markets.
